Hi! we are up and running!  And so begins a new forum experience! I moderated the Krav Maga Worldwide forum from its inception in 1999 to October of 2007.  Can’t wait to do it all again!

Yes!!  A new forum!!!  With John moderating, this should be great.  The other one was never quite the same without him.

BTW, it’s me, the old “Giantkiller”.

Hi John,

I too want to echo the sentiments of others here that it is great to see you moderating a forum again!  I go way back on the “other” forum and it was never the same without you.

I’m doing fine - just getting older - more aches and pains. How are you? I haven’t trained in Krav for a year or so. If Krav Maga Allience ever opened a school close to me in Florida, I would love to take it up again.

I do think they have or are going to have an affiliate in Florida.  You can check the affiliates listed on the front page once in a while to see if there is ever anything new there.

I’m not with KMWW anymore, but train at John’s new Focus gym, the headquarters of the Krav Maga Alliance.  It’s great, we’ve been doing many cool things, such as going to live shooting seminars, in LA as well as in Vegas, where we also did simunition training (you can read about it on the main page).  There are also special weeks each month, such as “Visual Impairment Week”, or “Home Invasion Week”.  Lots of good training.

There is an affiliate in Tampa:  http://www.enforcekravmaga.com/

May be too far for you, but you could still check it out if you are ever in the area.  Also, the Vegas seminar was open to anyone so, if they are doing it again and you’d be willing to travel, you could check it out, it was really cool.  And John is teaching a lot of seminars around the country as well.

Thanks Alex. I found that Tampa school on the wefsite. It is a little far for me. I’ll keep montering the web for new affliates in Florida and for any seminars that I may be able to attend.

Great.  Good luck.  And if you are ever in Los Angeles, check out Focus, it’s a nice gym!
