Found this interesting webpage while looking for Krav new articles. Thought I would share it with the community. I have not gotten too far into it but I wonder if it is a sounding board for IKMA or a balanced assessment. Check it out. (I also posted this on KMWW forum).

Looked at the website some more and it looks like a lot of info on CKM and Moni, so look if you are interested.

I looked at it.  Basically, it’s an advertisement for IKMA.  I think it’s a little dishonest for them to bill it as “exposing” KM instructors they believe to be frauds, when they really seem to be about getting Krav students into IKMA, but they’re free to advertise however they want.

I also don’t buy into the martial arty line of “we’re the pure thing, why would you learn it from someone else when you can come to the source”.  I’ve heard that refrain before, in many different martial arts, and it’s grown quite tiring. It sounds like yet another example of what John Whitman sometimes refers to as the unfortunate “Martial Artification” of Krav (I’m paraphrasing, of course).  The more Krav instruction goes down that road, the less effective it’ll be - IMO.

They seem to mostly go after CKM and Haganah.  I don’t know much about CKM.  It sounds like a poor man’s Hisardut to me.  I have taken one round of Haganah, and I found it to be a beneficial supplement to my Krav training, but it’s definitely not for everyone.  I probably won’t be taking another round of it, though.  I’m happy sticking with straight-up Krav at the moment.

But this “exposing” site just really rubs me the wrong way.

Just take it with a grain of salt. There are lots of good instructors out. They seem to focus on Moni from CKM, some Haganah guys, and Jim Wagner.
